The last couple of weeks have been a pretty solid test to the idea of team work. We are all counting on each other to get the jobs done, we usually pull through pretty well. Things for the most part, in the software, have been ok. Not to say we havent had our fair share of set backs. I think in the circumstances of the class, and what it has to offer, we do well. Since this class can be associated to closer to the real world, the problems as a team we face are all in the real world and dont deserve a dramatic complaint. We meet as much as we can, and do ok at letting each other know whats up from down.

The most important tools that we have used, I would say is each other. All of us have the skills to complete the assignments, but its how we designate eachother to certian rolls. This make us effective and therefore this makes each of us the most important tools.

Computers play a vital role in my life as a student and person. Everyday is a constant track of checking emails, researching information, and staying in contact with people. Now days paths for these are easier due to computers and the Internet.  The draw backs of this is privacy, false information, and just too much information in general. I would like to see safer ways and more assured ways of learning through technology. But this never fully prohibits the use of all the information and technology to help simplify our lives. Technology these days is a better way to learn simple because it networks mass amounts of people that share the same interests to learn that would not have been possible with out the current technological advancements.

While completing Hester’s and Leto’s task group Peanut butter jelly time is rolling pretty good. We are working well with each project and utilizing each role of the group well. Communication could be better, but we are all busy and the fact that we complete each project as well as we do is enough to ask for.

Completing Hester’s task was executed by my team very well. We had great communication and I think this was the most important part to our success. As with this weeks task (Leto’s Predicament) the base for our team working well was communication. I feel we are on a good path to succeeding in the class. What we might do differently in the future I think, would be to complete several drafts of the projects on a set schedule. We complete several as of now but to have a set date would for our goals would success us even more. The only difficulties of the group work is finding times that we can all meet up. Juggling 3 schedules is not an easy task as is, but we show true grit in getting the job done.

Our favorite foods range pretty well. Dontae likes anything Italian, were Gary likes anythin Asian. I myself am a mac and cheese man.

What I hope to get from the course are several things.  I know quite a bit about the basics of computers, since I work around them in my everyday life. My generation and the ones to come need to be computer savvy for almost any type of business or personal use. What I plan to do is expand my knowledge on anything to use practically in life, computer knowledge is a must.

The first thing that I want to learn from the class is catching up on the computer lingo. This includes all the internal parts, software, and input/output devices.  All of the proper terminology is key in our technological world.  It will be nice to be able to understand, interpret, and give feedback with what computer techs and just people familiar with computers in general are referring too.

With the lingo comes the understanding of how each component of the computer functions. Either it be software, or hardware, it will be nice to understand completely what the roles of each are. Also, particularly with this course , the knowledge and familiarizing with the softwares of available for a computer. I am especially interested in working with Excel and Powerpoint softwares.

All in all I am coming into the class with an open mind to learn something new. Weither it being form, function, or process I am all ears to the class and what it has to offer.
